POSITION OF CENTRE SERVICE MANAGER & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Loughlinstown Community Rooms is recruiting a Centre service & Youth
Development Manager for Established community center. The center is
operated by a Board of Management supported by East Coast community
employment scheme. Provides rental space to local community services
and groups, Runs youth programs for youth * to
* years. Community Creche & coffee dock
facilities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to develop our
center & youth programs for young people in Loughlinstown the Ideal
candidate will be highly motivated, with a range of knowledge, skills
and experience in a community and youth work setting. The person will
have experience in securing funding, governance of community projects
and an excellent social analysis of community issue. They must also
have the ability to work with people at many levels, in terms of work
with statutory and voluntary agencies, staff, service /group
member’s parents and young people.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent verbal and written skills
* At least 5 years’ experience in working in a community and youth
work setting
* A degree in Community and Youth Work or related qualification
* Be highly motivated and demonstrate innovation in work practice
* Demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines
* Knowledge of accounts. & Computer skills.
LOCATION: Rear of Loughlinstown Shopping Centre. Loughlinstown Drive.
Loughlinstown. Co Dublin.
